What should an accounting student who gets C's average expect after he graduate?

What kind of jobs will he get? What will be his pay? Will he stay at entry-level forever? Will he ever pass his CPA exam?

We can't predict the future. People stay entry level if they choose to...The job he gets will depend on outgoing he is and how much effort he puts into his career.
Sadly, probably a future in the retail sector. I don't know what the standard is for CPA, but maybe you should check. C average may not be passing, and if it is, it's a kind of crappy grade. You'd have to look hard for an accounting job.
An Accounting Graduate can still get a job in accounting field regardless of his/her grade gained from school but the pay would start with the basic amount or minimum as required by labor law. Entry level forever?Well, it would depend on your working performance, if your performance would be a "C" then you'll not progress and worst is you'll be terminated. CPA exam? Pls consider to enroll in a review center for CPA board exam and you'll see that accounting academics thought in college schools are not enough. It still up to your own determination if you want to pass the board exam or not.It is not a matter of your "C" average but a matter of your own will and determination.
I'm happy your student isn't buying his way to an A. I don't think I would hire an accountant if I knew they got a C. I'm sure he has a long career ahead of him with the IRS.
you can still get a job in the accounting field.

you'll have to study your backside off to pass the CPA exam, tho... I graduated Summa *** Laude (straight A's) and it took me 5 times to pass the CPA exam.
You can get any kind of job you are interested in, no body is going to ask for a transcript in the working world. You will pass your CPA exam, you just have to keep trying until you do.
You'll probably get a nice job as an Accountant - nothing wrong with that, and the pay should be average to above average.

You probably won't become a CPA working from a home office, but you certainly might.

Don't put so much pressure on yourself. It's the degree they look at, not the grades.
