In interviews is it clever to say that my weakness is performing very well in interviews? No. During most interviews the company is not looking for clever answers. Many candidates are passed over because their answers seem to well prepared and impersonal. During an interview it is important to let them see your very best self. The interviewer wants to understand what type of person you are and how you will fit in for the position. Most often all candidates are capable of doing the job, so they want to find the right or best person for that job. They need to get to know a little about you as an individual in order to be comfortable in making that decision. i think so. No. That doesn't even make sense? This statement is so clever...keep using it until your money runs out. No. For one thing, that's not an actual weakness. For another, the interviewer will probably not be impressed or amused. No. Interviewers want you to tell them a story about a weakness that you have and how you are successfully trying to overcome it. Don't use "weakness at interviews" unless you have some statement prepared about how you have been trying to overcome your weakness (conducting mock interviews, rehearsing in front of the mirror, etc.). Also don't say that your weakness is perfectionism. That one is the worst. |
