You're definitely paid for training. It's pretty standard in the banking sector. How much depends on the bank. I think it's pretty substantial considering how much time you put in. It really is a great experience, one of the few chances to network with other offices...
What's involved? Besides compliance, setting up direct deposit, and those housekeeping issues, learning how to work with clients. I work in banking, so our group had financial modeling, valuing companies, understanding a financial statement, and some financial accounting. |
