Minimum age for bank?

what is the minimum age to work on a cashier in a bank?

hello! I believe (here in UK anyway) it is 16 or 17 as they require you to have at least a C grade GCSE. I cannot say for the US.

I worked in a bank for a few years and started as a cashier. The money may suck, but you really do get some good benefits working for a bank, especially if it is a high classed reputable bank.

Cashiering can open the way for other jobs within the bank, as you are the initial contact for the customer and will have plenty of good experiences to add to your CV.

I send my CV around all the local banks with a covering letter explaining how I was looking to get into a financial company and step up my career with them and how I wanted to be in a place where I could work my way up and gain new skills and experiences. It worked! All of them offered an interview.

Good luck!
