Salary of IT auditor in Big 4 firm in Thailand? Ideas? |
Hey guys, do you know or have any idea how much could be the average salary for IT auditor in senior associate role in a Big 4 auditing firm Bangkok, Thailand? Ballpark figures are okay. Help? I have been in IT for 20 years. It is my experience that people ALWAYS inflate the salaries. Be careful. Besides, why do you care what the "average" salary is in Thailand or anywhere else for that matter? The point is ... can YOU find someone to hire you and if so, at what salary and with what benefits? Let's say you did some research and found that the average salary in that area was $86K and your job offer was for $71K, what are you going to do? Tell them about your research? Demand $86K? C'mon! ANY "average" you come up with is going to be basically a summary of ALL IT jobs of ALL skill levels averaged as best they can. Do you REALLY think that will give YOU any idea what YOU can earn, in YOUR specific IT specialty, with YOUR specific IT skills, and YOUR specific experience? They say, be careful what you ask for, you might get it. To me, NO ANSWER to this question is better than one that totally misleads you. My advice is for you to decide what you will need to move to Thailand (or wherever) and then start your search. If you find a job and can get that much money then you should be happy.
