Looking particularly at countries that have a high currency value vs. the US Dollar. Western Europe, Qatar, UAE, Singapore, etc.
Contact the companies' websites or human resource departments directly - many of the work-overseas "resources" amount to scams in that you pay a sometimes big fee ($200+) for them to take your resume and "get it in the hands of the human resource decision-makers of major overseas corporations" but because there are so many resumes sent by these businesses, you never hear from anybody. They may or may not send them in but companies would not likely hire from them. I wanted to work in France about 20 years ago and called one of those companies from an ad. They said how good all of my qualifications sounded and to send my resume in with a check for $235 for processing. I called the Better Business Bureau in the city where the address was and he said that was a big building meaning with no room number or suite, it sounded like a scam. The idea being that someone in the building would look for that company name and cash the check. Good Luck! |
