Financial Planning Certificate? |
I would like to sit my Financial Planning Certificates but can't find any information on courses in the Leeds area!! So can anybody help???? cheers!! Consider getting the training on-line, there are numerous very good reputable colleges/universities/companie... that offer on-line courses or at home training. You may consider looking at where you plan on working or put the the training to use before spending the time and money getting the Certificate. The Chartered Insurance Institute probably can. http://www.cii.co.uk/cii.aspx The American College has an accredited curriculum that counts as college credit (theamericancollege.edu). Once you complete the coursework, you will have the education requirements necessary to sit for the CFP exam. However, that is just one step in the process. You will need a Bachelor's Degree and at least 3 years of personal financial planning experience to actually put the CFP designation next to your name. There are many questions about getting a financial planning certificate on this site. In order to be successful, you definitely need an education to go along with a "title". You cannot expect someone to use you as a financial planner while being less educated. Ron, ChFC Go to the Bestjobinfinancialservices website it is the CFS Co-operative Insurance society and if you pass the competency based interview you can train as a Financial Adviser and be paid at the same time, alternatively you can contact Ceefa as their exams are now the industry standard and have superseded the FPC exams .
