Can you be a financial analyst with just a bachelor's degree in Finance? |

Yes, but you'll find much more lucrative (and interesting) FA positions with an MBA, and if you want to be an analyst in the investing world (stocks & bonds), you're eventually going to have to get your CFA (NOT fun). I got my MBA, and started going through the CFA program, but decided that I like corporate finance, so I ditched the CFA. Good luck! As my Parents used to tell me, you can be anything you want to be. Yes, you can be a financial analyst with just a bachelors degree and a few years experience. But in order to get certifications (CPA, CFP, CFA, etc.) you will have to probably meet further qualifications such as a 5th year of college or passing a test. check out the job requirments on bank websites. Yes - for corporate financial analysis. For the investment field, an MBA/CFA gets better hiring response, but you can get in the door with just a bachelors. yes. but u shud also enrol and try to clear atleast 2 levels of the CFA exam. it will be a gr8 advantage Of course. Financial analysis is a very specific skill that is best learnt on the job or through professional training courses. Operis, Navigator Project Finance and BPM all have great training programs (not sure if BPM have any courses in the UK though) for cashflow modelling. Most people start out with a bachelor, learn the business and will then later move on through professional training programs. Not until 3-5 years later it's worth thinking about a CFA/MBA or similar.
