Do bank tellers usually use their bank/company for their own banking needs, or go to another bank? |
Do bank tellers usually use their bank/company for their own banking needs, or go to another bank? When i worked for Wells Fargo I refused to use their bank. Basically anyone in the company can look into my account at any time the pleased as long as they knew my full name. I would rather keep my financial records private, my wife and I are the only ones that need to know. Thats just a personal opinion, outside of that, i am sure that banks offer their employees great perks on accounts, I know they definetly give discounts on mortgages and loans. Usually where they work. Good perks. A banking company that I worked at gave us free banking to use their banks, and strongly encouraged the use of only their banks. They would only direct deposit into one of the banks they ran. My sister worked for the same company and when she was killed they placed all her accounts on hold so her boyfriend (and killer) could not with drawl money on any account that had her name even if it also had his name. I'm a bank teller at Wells Fargo and I have two accounts. One is at Wells Fargo and its only my account. My husband and I also have an account together but it is at Chase bank. The reason is because I don't like the thought of my co-workers knowing how much money my husband and I have in our accounts or any of our other financial business. Its great to have my Wells Fargo account because I get free checking, savings, great rates on mortgages, loans, investments, etc. |
