URGENT!!! ((((What can I do after keeping follow-up a job interview but I still dont get an answer?))))?

2 months passed after my interview, HR told me the hiring managers like me, and other candidates were rejected by hiring manager. However, up till now, the hiring manager hasnt given me an offer or rejected me. Even HR does not get an answer. HR had helped me to push the hiring manager to give an answer but it didnt work. I have left 2 voice messages and sent 2 thank-you/follow-up letter to express my interest over this 2 month period already. What should I do for my best now? This is the job I like most among all others... PLEASE HELP!!!!! thanks a lot

You're going to hate this, but be patient & wait. If it's what you really want, continue to check back and express your interest every now & again.

The hiring manager is probably far too overwhelmed for words or comprehension (evidenced by him not getting back to HR) or there's a concensus culture within the company and the hiring manager can't get everyone together to discuss hiring you. There are other possible explanations, too, but they're too many to discuss probably.

keep being patient and check back with them from time to time.

We operate a staffing firm & one of our clients gave us a job order in August, we submitted candidates right away, they interviewed in September & it took until February to get the offer & work out negotiations...he started in May. Some companies are like that.
2 months is a very long time for an answer. Being pushy isn't your best call either. I think you have sent enough letters and left enough msgs. Wait it out or try to call the HR w/o leaving msgs if the vmail picks up. Try calling again and again and speak with someone. If you're calling the person's direct line, try the general number and ask for the person instead so you know where he/she is. Make sure you ask them if you need to go in for a second interview so you can see them again.
2 months? yea, sorry but you probably need to start applying to more places
