Diploma in Financial Management ACCA? |
Hi there! Has anybody done this diploma? Is it good? I am thinking of doing it in Dublin Business School, please let me know your opinion! thanks Ask a local accountant his/her view. It will be a useful qualification and could lead on to a full professional accounting career. I have been a Chartered Accountant in industry for 30 years after 5 years of articles. Really enjoyed it but would not go back to the profession - not everybody's cup of tea. But all qualified accountants are on a good wage. Use my profile if you want to contact for any specific info. Source(s): Put acca diplome financial management into your search and and there of lots of useful hits - so I won't type it all in. Good Luck1 I am ACCA qualified and love being an Accountant, I work in industry so for companies that do something else, ie manufactor something, retail something etc and I run their finance function which involves managing the accounts team to collect monies owed, pay monies due, do budgets, do the accounts, do the tax and so on and so on. Personally I find this much more interesting than being a Chartered Accountant (CA) working in practise, an accountancy company, where you just do lots of work for smaller firms that don't have there own finance function. I like to be part of a company and enjoy seeing the strategic side of a companies growth. There are 3 qualifications, CA, which is more for practise, CIMA which is mainly just for industry or ACCA which does a bit of both, so this is a good choice, to give you more flexibility.
