What is the most profitable accounting road to glory riches and island sipping paradise? |
I have a very low 2.73 gpa and I am about to graduate, what should I do? Is my hope for sipping drinks on paradise already over? I would recommend a graduate degree or continuing on for your CPA. Your best bet is to work really hard for a couple of years with a Big 4 firm and then land a corporate Accounting managers position. Don't expect to get rich overnight, the pay is good but not great and it will take many years to pay off. Go to an employment agency and ask to be placed in entry level jobs in the financial services industry. Once placed work as hard as you can to get permanence. Be the "perfect" employee. After that work your way up. I have seen many hard workers at my bank get better positions than lazy people with straight A's in university....believe it or not in the end it is performance that matters!! well maybe you can try this website below. I started my online business only recently and it gives me a decent income for a newcomer like me. Moreover, she is a local and so far help me a lot. If you have any query, feel free to ask me. http://www.simplyrich-sg.com/ste... No it isn't. You can still go to college and earn a degree. Just get serious and even if you have to start at a community college you can build a better GPA and eventually transfer to a bigger and better college. If you are talking about your college GPA, just remember that the degree is what counts, and only the real large communities even check it. Average intelligence and great grades doesn't match superior intelligence with average grades. Some people just don't excel in school, but will excel in the work place. Companies like to see "Drive and Determination", a good work ethic more than what your grades were. Some of the most successful business people in the world never finished school, let alone college. Bill Gates dropped out of college during his sophomore year and Ted Turner didn't ever go past his sophomore year. Work hard, be honest, and learn to listen, as you never learn anything when you are talking. |
