While in school you will probably be limited to weekend work and possibly some evening work, four hours per day, are a total of 36 hours per week. You could stretch that to forty hours, if you are working two different jobs. The minimum wage is about to be $5.85 per hour, but most places start you at $6.00 per hour depending on the nature of the work. If working at a restaurant you would only make $2.13 per hour plus tips, if a waiter, but if a dishwasher or bar back you would probably make $6.00 per hour. |
