I am interested in getting a financial analysis certificate from NYU via online? How useful is that certificate when it comes to landing a job in the field, how widely recognize is that certificate. I was also considering other school who offer financial analysis certificates, however NYU is the most prestigious of the bunch.
PS: I understand a certificate does not replace a BA or a MBA, but it is the best investment I can at this stage.
It doesn't help at all in getting a job. What you learn may help you after you get one. A prospective employer will want to do his own testing and those results are what count. They won't consider you with a certificate over someone else without one who does better on the tests. They want to train you in their methods anyway.
