How do you become a certified financial planner in Oregon?

Academic requirements? Professional Requirements? Exams? What all does it take?

Take Series 65. Complete CFP certification. Register with your state.

You can find a lot of regulations and other information from http://www.nasaa.org/home/index.cfm...

Best wishes.
You need at least a Bachelor's Degree, to start with.

Specifically re: CFP, some colleges provide coursework to ready you to for the certification tests.

The coursework is not required to take the exam, but likely you will find it helpful.
