g program and was with them 2 months before i was released because I failed the Series 7 exam. Since then I passed the 7,annuities and am,health, life licensed, and working on my 66. However, the only companies that seem to be interested are Life insurance co. Is it a RED FLAG to another broker/dealers that i once worked for Morgan and is there anything i can do to change that?
You cannot be working on your series 66 when you currently do not have an investment firm sponsoring your license i do believe. The reason why you maybe having trouble in getting to another firm is the fact that you were released after two months with Morgan Stanley, it is never a good sign to be at a job for such a short period of time, especially in the brokerage environment when you start off. How did you get the 7 when you failed the first time and Morgan let you go? A company had to sponsor you to take the test, maybe you should have stayed with that company and stuck it out for a little while, once you built your book of business up, then maybe look at different firms. Use a career consulting firm for guidance. I did and it helped a great deal. I used Learntosucceed.biz and their advice helped me to advance way ahead of what I thought possible.
Excellent price as well.
