Please help me get an auditing/ accounting job in the US? |
Anyone in here who can help me get an Accounting/ Auditing Job in the US? I am a Filipina with a Philippine CPA license and is also a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA, international designation for internal auditors.) I am also working on getting my Certified Fraud Examiner's license. I have at least 2 years banking and external audit experience. I'd be willing to take care of the visa costs if needed. I need referrals and serious answers please. thank you. You best bet is to work for one of the big international accounting firms and look for transfer opportunities within the firm to US based office in the future. For example, http://careers.deloitte.com/opportunitie... It is fairly difficult to obtain H1B visa at this time. The current year quota was filled within its 1st month. Unless you are a proven track record with a company, it will be very difficult to find a firm that is willing for to wait for your visa even if they don't have to bare the costs. I'd think that your best shot would be US based companies with sales in the Phillipines. They'll have accounting issues relating to translation from Phillipine business practices and Tagalog into US practices and English. There likely aren't many Americans with the kind of experience and language skills you have, so you'd then be eligible for an H1b [can't find American workers] visa. GL I work for a large cpa firm.
