I got a call from HR for a job and she left the message wanting to know if i'm relocating to there state and she wanting to discuss my resume so i called and he said r u relocating to that state i said this i don't have any plan on relocating to o that state however if i get the job i'm willing to relocate on my expense. She then said can you come for interview i said yes. She said she will forward my resume to a manager and see what happens if the manager wants in person or phone interview. I asked her how long it will take she said she doesn't know. I sounded so nervous and i think i did really bad.
She didn't discuss my resume. Does it mean i should forget thsi job what you think?
There is absolutely nothing to worry. You have indicated that you are willing to relocate and that is the only question asked. Now, the prospective employer will go through other aspects of your suitability to the Job and i am confident that you will not only get a call for interview but you will also certainly get your appointment letter. Please shed your fear !! It's hard to tell, she may have been screening the applicants and making appointments for the hiring manager. If you don't hear anything in a few days, call back for an update on the process. Practice what you plan to say so that you don't come off as nervous. Let her know positively that you are willing to relocate for the position.
