New York Life Interview help? |
I have a interview with New York Life for sales position. I have already went to seminar and got background check. Now I have interview with manager do you know what he will ask? Keep in mind the one key thing they look for is creativity and drive to sell products to either existing or new customers. Best wishes. He will ask you questions that will help him determine how good & persistent you will be in meeting many potential clients & selling them products. Selling Life Insurance is not for the faint of heart. It is one of the toughest financial products to sell unless you get the right mindset, habits, & training He will ask you who you know & who you plan to approach as your future clients. He or she will ask you a whole host of very stupid questions, like "what motivates you", yadayadayada Some companies give you an suitability/aptitude test. It may include questions about previous experience in sales. You have to be out-going, self motivated, enjoying studying & learning on your own, willing to talk with strangers all the time, want to help others achieve their financial goals, be able to think of creative sales ideas, analytical, very friendly, etc. If they ask you, "what is your biggest flaw?", tell them, "I sometimes hate to give up when something is challenging. I'll work harder and harder to find a solution that will make me successful. When most people would decide that a task is too hard, I want to work harder at it." They ask a lot of typical interview questions, about previous employment, how you were able to overcome obstacles, why you would be good at the job, etc..best, worst things about you. personally work there |
