I have applied to work in a time shares job in spain.does any1 have experience in this job?plus points & minus if you are a good lier and dont have a concience then you will be ok but its not a job I would do - you would be better being a tourist rep. You have to be very pushy and ruthless to do this job. A previous poster says you need to be pushy etc. Well given the reputation that timeshare has you need: no sense of shame zero integrity dishonesty corruption willing to take part in dodgy sales activities no self respect etc etc Become a tour guide instead and warn people off timeshare deals. If you want to wear a badge with pride, which says "moron" then go for it. Time share has a bad reputation and it's a well earned one. Dont put a slur on YOUR reputation by taking a job with them. Look for something else. If they dont treat their customers well, they wont treat their staff well. I'm sure you have seen them or been annoyed by them when you are on holiday? they come up to you with scratch cards and tell you you have won a home ownership competition, as time share is illegal in Spain - when they get the customer to the office they spend hours explaining about home ownership which you have not won - you will have to get about 5 people per day to sign up for this to enable you to get commission but after a week or so if you have not got anyone you get fired. this is all tax free illegal work. |
