How can an 11 year old girl get a job? |
How could an 11 year old get money. My younger sister is always asking me for money. What sould I do? HELP! Chloe xx The only Job that I can think of that an 11 year old can get hired doing is Delivering Newspapers. She can do a lot of other things to make money though, she could mow lawns, clean peoples yards or family members houses, collect cans, walk dogs, if she likes doing things like making bracelets or necklaces, she could make them and sell them, have a yard sale. Just tell her to ask her parents to give her some ideas on how to make money, maybe they will have a few things they will let her do for pay. There must be some chores that need to be done. Tell her that if she wants money she will have to earn it. Does your car need to be washed, clothes need washing, cleaning the kitchen... Do you have any friends who need a baby sitter? Don't just give her money make her earn it. It will be beneficial for her to learn how to work at an early age. Why not give her some advices then giving her help in finding jobs? At her age she should be concentrating in studies and not working. When she start working she will focus more on the money she get and her interest for studies might drop! Ask her to concentrate in her studies!She is too young to work anyway! it is not safe for young girls to work for anybody ask your mother why you could deliver news paper like my friend use to do in elementary but now days with all those weirdos out there, i wouldn't recommend it. other than that, it's true, you'd gotta do chores and if your parents are like my parents (chang bastards!) that's not possible. so you're kinna stuck. that is if you wanna go legit. if you are seeking illegit jobs, you'd have to get families' help. like lets say, working for your aunt's restaurant or your grandpa's shop or something. chinese people do that, and so does mexicans (payment is on the side). edit: oh ya! baby sitting is popular with teenagers but then again that still puts you in harms way. so i don't recommend that either. even IF it is for someone you trust. |
