What are the normal monthly fees a Primerica rep can expect?

I'm considering becoming a Primerica rep part-time and was wondering what fees a rep can expect each month (E & O, mailings, software, etc.). I have the education and experience to do the job full-time, however I'm not yet willing to leave my full time job for the financial advisory role. Also, if anyone knows of any other financial firms that will let a rep start part-time please let me know. Thank you

The only monthly fees you need to worry about at PT level is $25.00/ month POL fees.Thats it. i do fine and i do no mailing,i don't buy gobs and gobs of flyers that someone is just gonna throw away.I came to Primerica completely broke and i've come along just fine. And now they're paying ALL liscensing fees for you, AND it's only $99.00 for the class instead of $199.00
However the $199.00 dollar option is still there BUT they won't pay for your Securities liscense that way.

As far as other Opps. i've heard guys mention. Edward Jones and Raymond James will take PT reps.I don't know what they do as far as liscensing though.
Honestly (from personal experience) - most Primerica reps last less than 9 months and make little or no money.

The only good thing is that you can set up your own IRA and refund yourself the fees it would have cost.

It's not really a pyramid scheme, but less than 1% of Primerica reps are successful.

Sorry - your best bet is to get a CFP degree and then you can work part time - or go to tax school and start with someone parttime like H&R block.
You might want to search for questions here because someone has asked this before. Personally, I don't think it's right for them to charge you monthly, especially if you are helping them make money. Jennifer
I've been in Primerica for a few years now and my monthly fees is paying $25/month to have several people to manage my website, which is primericaonline.com. They update my business stats and give me tons of resources to help me build my business. There's lots of information on that website and you have to be a rep with the company to look at it.

Another monthly fee I have is paying about $20/month for my communication service (voice mail/fax/email) called GoSolo. GoSolo allows you to communicate to your team and your Regional Vice President. With a single message, you can send that message to everyone on your team. You will also get messages from John Addison, Co-CEO of Primerica and other important officers from our affiliates such as Metlife, CitiCorp Trust Bank, and so on. Basically, GoSolo allows you to make your office mobile. You should try it out because its free the first 60 days. If you decide to keep it, you want to check your messages every single day (in the morning or at night).

As for expenses, my expenses are very low. It cost about 5-10 cents to buy brochure. So I can buy bunch of brochures for just a $1. I don't know the cost to make these brochures. I mean, someone has to create the design, edit the material, and so on. Then the company has to review it and legalize it, which means the US government has to check it out to make sure nothing on there is false and misleading. It cost lots of money to make a brochure. But for me, I don't have to do all that and I can purchase bunch of these brochures.

In summary, building your business at Primerica doesn't require you to put up lots of capital. If you open any type of business on your own, you are going to need a lot more than just $99 to open a business.
