Wealth Consultants? What do they actually do?

Hi, i'm interested to work as a Wealth Consultants. Anyone care to explain what are the qualifications needed?

And what exactly does Wealth Consultants do?

Provide investment and financial advice to wealthy individuals.

The specific tasks would depend on the nature of business of the company but basically selling products for the employer; whether insurance, annuity, trust, various investment products (mutual funds, securities, REITs etc).

A wealth consultant is no different from regular financial adviser, other than the person has the charisma to speak with the wealthies and the products has taken into consideration of wealth preservation, succession, tax saving (you know, issues that the wealthies worry about).

The wealth consultant might need different knowledge and skills depending on the products s/he works with. So one might needs Series 6, 7, 63, 66 etc depending on the company.

Best wishes.
