TX CPA Exam Requirements? |
I would like to take the CPA Exam. My question is regarding the TX CPA Exam Educational requirements? I know there is a requirement that I have to complete 150 Credit hours of college course work. And 30 Credit hours have to be Accounting related. My question is: Does the entire (30 credit hours) HAVE to be Accounting courses or Can it be a combination of Accounting & Bussiness/Finance Courses? Also, is there a website with a "list of approved courses" ? Thanks Prakash (512) 305-7851 or (512) 305-7800 Have your transcript ready when you call The Board requires official transcripts from all colleges and universities that reflect the courses taken, credits earned, and degrees granted. Each transcript must show the seal of the college or university and the registrar鈥檚 signature. A photocopy will not be accepted. Documents will not be returned. An applicant receiving transcripts in sealed envelopes should open the envelopes and use the official documents to complete the Application of Intent Effective July 1, 2005, all transfer of credit applicants must have completed a three semester-hour ethics course. The course must be Board-approved and should include ethical reasoning, integrity, objectivity, independence, and other core values. A list of the Board-approved ethics courses are located on its website below Source(s): http://www.tsbpa.state.tx.us/pdffiles/l0... http://www.tsbpa.state.tx.us/pdffiles/ap... |
