Job interview - what to ask? |
I have a job interview in a couple of hours. The company is a international financial company, and the position is an entry level office position. Rule of thumb is the interviewee should have a small list of a few questions to ask the interviewer. What are some good examples of intelligent questions to ask? I have done some research on the company, but cannot seem to come up with anything (nerves, me thinks.......) I would ask what they would like to see accomplished in that position . Does this job have a high turnover rate & why. What do you feel are the most positive aspects about working for this company. You can ask the interviewer personal questions like, how long have you been with this company & why. You want to hear about the family atmosphere or anything more than just $. Ask about potential for advancement in the organization. This implies you are serious about the job & the company. Benefits, I would mention this before even talking about $. Not only will this help you know about the company. If they are lacking certain fringes that puts them at a disadvantage when they get to discussing salary. Let them know you've done your research.
