How much can I expect to make starting out as a Financial Advisor Associate at Smith Barney? |
How much can I expect to make starting out as a Financial Advisor Associate at Smith Barney? y'know, i don't know, but as a financial advisor at a different firm, i'd say you can believe what they tell you, and it's all up to how hard you work, and how good you are to your clients. (i.e. honest, acting in thier best interest, and making sure they know that.) and this field is a meat grinder. it is extraordinarily difficult to keep at it day after day. it's a head-game (tough to be rejected hundreds of times for the one sale, and not knowing where your next sale is coming from), and it can be very competitive.... anyhow, try it and see. set a time frame and some serious goals before you get in. objectively evaluate yourself when you're a couple of years in..... you're never trapped... You might want to check out Learntosucceed.biz They a career consulting service that offer career materials and phone advice for about $30. The phone advice is great since you speak to a former long time hiring manager of several big firms on Wall St. I know for a fact that he spent many years at Smith Barney so his insights may give you a big advantage Smith Barney is a great company; however, you will receive whatever you put out. I work with Primerica and we also market Smith Barney products with our financial needs analyzes www.openhousefinancials.com |
