How to make my job more interesting? |
I work in a supermarket for the summer and its sooooooo dull. I am an intelligent uni graduate and im going back to school this sept so just doing something to keep occupied. i work on checkouts and everyone is just bad tempered and not fun. I want to find a way to make this more interesting. i have managed to get myself onto customer services desk and that seems to be as exciting as it gets...... any ideas? I hate asking the same questions over and over :( When I worked retail years ago, I learned almost every job in the store (cashier, stocker, stock room, each dept.). Once I knew most of the jobs I became the daily "breaker" I would go from dept. to dept. giving people their breaks and lunches. It was a lot more exciting than working in one dept. all the time.
