Just got a job at Panera, please give me input!!!? |
I just got a job there working the front line, could n e one give me past experiences and how was the 1st week. Also what was orientation like, what type of benefits do you get i.e. free food? Hi! Just wondering... What state are you in? First you will have an orentation at the cafe where you fill out paperwork and have a tour. Then you will be sent to "planet bread" a 3.5 hour class about panera. You will learn how to make french baguettes, learn history, try a bunch of products, learn about our concept essence and cultural values. After this class on your first day you will do E-learning and dining room/dish. After that you will do "front line" I am not sure what you mean about that... maybe line? Thats where you make the food. You will have lots of trainers and it is not hard. Just study the menu. Benefits- Vary depending if you are corporate or franchise. If you are corporate you get 65% off food. Free pop/coffee. Family discount of 50% off but it has to be purchased in advance. Stock options, 401k for full time (25plus) hours.
