When applying for a job, what would be the most right way to put in the following setion:? |
date you can start? pleez help. i need to get hired but i want to sound professional. Just put: Negotiable. They see it all the time, and it just lets them know you'll know more if you get an interview and get into the hiring process. Usually you can't just put down an exact date. You could also put that you need 2 weeks for providing notice to your present job, or just give them a general idea. It's not a concrete question and answer. Just put as soon as the position is available. By the way, I just quit my job at fast food..and it made me a much happier person.. say two weeks if you have a job now, otherwise say available immediately available upon request if unemployed, or one to two weeks if currently employed. Put in ASAP.....as soon as possible. in your employment history dated from your last employer to present type: currently unemployed . If your currently employed type :I feel obligated to give present employer 1wk notice ( it shows them that you wouldn't leave them high and dry, and it works great) If your filling in blanks write: "preferably today" or "at your convince" (that tells them that your there for them, not the other way around) under "reason for leaving last employer" just type "personal" it'll make them curious and will help get you in to interviews, and if asked for details reply, "My last employer gave me a chance at his establishment and I respect him for that, with that in mind my answer would be: "It just didn't work out there"" That'll show them that work stays in the office, and even though you may have felt your last employer was a 9 iron and you no longer work there, your still loyal to the company, slander helps no one....... Good Luck life |
