Is it common to be told you were pretty much hired and then not to be called? |
Waitstaff position: Went on three interviews on the last one, they said in a couple of days they would set something up, they weren't specific and all together they spent about 45 min. interviewing me. It's been nearly two weeks, I haven't heard a word? Is this common? What might the reason for the mistake be or second thoughts? You should have called them a week after the interview to follow up your application. In fact, you should have sent a thank you note right after the interview. In the meantime, continue your job hunt. There are millions of good jobs out there. Peace and blessings! |
