How to stay in a tough job?? |
i currently have a part-time restaurant job, sometime i found the floor manager seems expecting me to quit. i am new, but i am an experienced waitress, never made big mistake or trouble to anyone, and i done pretty good sale for restaurant. Everything is going ok, but,,,, i just feel somebody around don't like me. especially the manager, sometimes she is acting like kicking my *** out. what i should do? Just do the best that you possibly can and give GREAT service to your diners. You don't need to be friends with management, you are there to do a job and make some money. If you have the right attitude, you will succeed anywhere. Don't worry about getting fired. There are other jobs available. OK, great question here. It is obvious that both of them (especially the girl) is extremely jealous of you. (You must be soooo hot), A'hme, anyway,. she is jealous of you and will pounce on any/ every mistake you make, if any. Here's what you do. You need to eat some CROW. That means, you need to take anything and everything these people throw at you. Do your job to perfection. Smile alot, please your customers. Come early, stay late. Be the best. They will eventually realize that you will be around for a while and will warm up to you as a friend. Also, make jokes and try to be funny. Good Luck! Smile and be polite while you do the best job you can. Not everyone will like you but once the boss sees you as a money maker things should get better. Keep looking for another job too. Just remember to be polite when you quit this job because you found a better one. |
