Job for teenager....? |
I'm 16, and I've applied for most places that a teenager could work at that I could think of atleast.......but please give me some ideas as to where I can apply.... [already done target, kmart, every restaurant....pretty much..except mcdonalds cause I dont want to get fat....haha] Don't work for someone else. Mow lawns if you have a lawn mower. You make your own hours. Work as much or little as you want. Work in the day so you can hang with freinds at night on the weekends. Set a price for what you want to do. I give the little guy who does mine $10 for the frontyard and it takes him 10 minutes. Walk up to a house that needs ask if they want it mowed. Once you get one you can do it every 2 weeks all summer. I had about 10 repeat customers and always had more money than my freinds. Good job if your worried about getting fat. GO TO THE GROCERY STORE IN YOUR AREA maybe boys n girls club, assistent sport coach, video game store have you tried your fav clothing store? you will probably get a discount there. I'm not sure what state you live in. But if it's Illinois, IDES has a department has a program specifically tailored for hiring highschool students for temporary posistions. Grocery stores... or a mall near by will have lots of oppourtunities... Try something with Parks and Recreation maybe? Something through the city where you can be outside, maybe kids camp. Or the YMCA, you can get certified as a lifeguard, and makes lots of cash doing it. OR try a golf course as a caddy or just help around the course, they usually hire youngins to pick up the balls on fairways. I've worked at a golf course before and its a lot of fun. All of these will get you outside and are a lot of fun. |
