If u just moved to a new state and all of your references are from New York will they try to call? |
For a waitstaff position in a diner, club or/ and bar Is it likely that they may not call them since these are all out of state?Also what do you do If you were not in NY legally, is there a way to verify this, even if you were born in the united states and have a social security # etc... The people in New York may give a rude impression and even though they liked me may convey it New York style and that may lead them to think I was a horrible employee in California terms? Geez - just slit your wrists and be done with it. Dude - if they are worth their salt - they will call for a reference. However, I have seen more times than not they usually don't bother unless it's a high scale place. You should explain the "illegality" of being in NY even though you were a US Resident. Yes, of course they will. |
