Is it normal to have a company meeting to discuss applicant after 2 minute interview? |
Having a company meeting to show application to everyone at the meeting? Is this normal? More than one place has done this so far: They said they're about to have a company meeting (on a Thursday right before a busy shift, it was around 3:45 when the 2 minute interview was over?) They said they planned on showing the completed application to everyone at the meeting !! ?? and then call if they need someone to fill that position? Shouldn't they know on the interview if they need someone or not, Is this normal? It can't be that great of a sign; Needless to say they didn't call. Trying to understand what went wrong? This seems strange, to be some sort of backhanded insult of some sort? Should I go over there and take the application back, they seem troublesome ? They probably already knew who they wanted to hire but your interview was already scheduled. Or they'd offered the job to a previous interviewee. I've been part of a group interview - where after the manager met with the applicant the other 7 of us went in and all asked questions. I'm confused as to why you'd want to take the application back... if they are paying attention, that is a good sign thats presumably why you sent a resume and interviewed whats bad is when you expend lots of effort and they just ignore you they would not waste all those people's time if they were not considering you opinion, experience The information on your application is not for everyone at the company to see. I have never heard of this. |
