Are these weird reasons for wanting to work at a restaurant?
What is a good way to word this
if these aren't weird reasons: it's close to me
I do like the restaurant, I've eaten there and liked it, it was really fun. I wanted to stay for a long time whenever I eat there because the atmosphere is good also.
How many reasons do they need? Too many reasons sounds scary like ur obsessed with the place, or a stalker or something though ?

no, not weird.

if you liked being there as a customer, you will project that as a server...

Having a server with that attitude is a great asset to that the establishment. Besides serving the food and getting the order right, it is best way to keep the customers coming back.

Probably an important part of your experience as a customer has been the staff. If they were miserable and weren't having a good time, you probably wouldn't have liked it that much.

The other reasons you gave are also legitimate, they just would not contribute to the business...they are solely for you. So won't be that important to the manager.

Good luck! Your enthusiasm should really help.
You probably won't have those after you've worked in one
You want to work there because you have enjoyed your experience as a customer and want to provide that to others.
If asked what you enjoyed respond you liked the ambiance and the food as well as the great customer service.
iy you ENJOYED the place cauze of its atmosphere and good fun then definitely they get IT you wanna work here but its not about eating there yourself, you gotta give people visiting a fun, good feeling too, kinda entertainer...ofcourse customers remember good food, setting, etc but they ALWAYS REMEMBER WHO served them WELL,so write something like you wanna let people go home with same happy feeling you got,ok.Goodluck, you know its hard work though...but tipping should be great
