Applebees servers? any servers or hostes? |
I just trained for a grewling 6 hours and my back is KILLING me. How much money would you bring home on average a night? Is it worth it or should I become a host. do hosts make any money, their job seems super easy compared to the one Im about to do. Since you already have the job, learn how to wait table at Applebee's and then you can get a better job at a house with better hours and higher entree prices. You'll get used to the pain and once you learn how, it's a fairly easy job to get. Hosts usually do not make as much as servers, unless you're at a high traffic restaurant, and customers are trying to toke their way to a table. But generally speaking, servers will make more than a host... A hostess does not get tips and servers do for all their hard work. your back? hell it was always my feet cause of the crappy shoes they made us wear. you will get used to it server generally makes more cause of the tips but the host usually gets paid more check wise im a host at applebees and every applebees is different. but we get tipped out every night and we get like 10-15 dollars a night just for helping out, but the hours for servers suck so thats why i didnt want to do that. hostess jobs suck they make their hourly wage and maybe like an extra 5-15$ a shift get a job waitressing |
