Is this the right thing to do about my job? |
hello, i am working iin a nursery with children. i am ment to be starting my nvq level 3 next month, the only thing is it takes 2 years to do and have to stay another year after that as they pay for it. i want to travel with in the next 2years, idealy i wana be a nanny now ,but because i do not have my level3 it was hard to get a nanny job. i have found this private system that i can do CACHE LEVEL 3 which is simlier to nvq level 3 and will be done in 5 months the only down fall is i have to pay for it, but if i wont to travle or get a nanny job quciker i would like to do this. so good idea as i dont liek nusery much and it a lot oof work only been there 7 weeks, but i wont to work with kids but jus as a nanny 1 to 1 as bennin nusery before. so shall i tel my boss i wont start level 3 as i dont no wer eil be in 2 or 3 years time and say il pay for it me self( pay should still go up thoe? wen i get my next leve;) and apply for nanny job now as lok better that im in a nusery? Ok, well first off, how can you be expecting to teach or be responsible for children if you can't even spell and use grammar correctly? I would say tell your boss that you don't know where you'll be in 3 years, then leave it up to them if they still want to pay for the education. Do they make you sign a contract? Yes, once you have the higher level, your pay should go up, but probably not at that place if they are already paying for it. I think you should go for the shorter course and try for the job you really want. Why waste time not following your dreams? Good Luck! NVQ3 only takes 9 months to do while in Full Time Education, and 6 months while working (that's how it took me and my work colleagues). Any decent employer will pay for it for you. The trouble with society today is we are all cutting corners which in itself is wrong,the only way forward is to study hard & play to win! depending what age you are at now I would say if you wish to do things right then put in the hours because at the end of it you will have the expertise to take well paid nanny jobs anywhere,whereas if you cut corners you will end up with second rate job with third rate wages, sacrifices made now will prove beneficial in the long run. |
