I know that people use drugs at my place of employment what shold i do??? So?Everywhere you work nowadays,there are people on legal or illegal drugs.Whats the difference?Leave it a moral issue and not a legal issue.I used to work at a wherehouse with alot of meth heads.I never told the boss...instead,I got to know the users and told them(eventually) that they were pissing me off.You can only communicate your feelings.Thats the right thing to do.If you were to tell,and they some how find out?You don't want to know what might happen...Don't be afraid of them.Get to know them,and when you feel comfortable and the time is right,say how you feel. Hang out and make friends with them. LOL just kidding. Call your HR rep, and discuss it them him or her. Turn 'em in!!! They use drugs AT your place of employment. They actually take the drugs at work? Are you in the food service? Report it to your supervisor. I'm sure it's a health and safety violation. Even if they don't take them at work, but instead come into work high it should still be reported. There are probably safety concerns for you, them, co-workers or customer/clients. If they are putting you or the public at risk then you should report what you know to HR. Otherwise it might be best to MYOB. Since you work in food service, ask yourself if you would want those people preparing your food. If the answer is no, then it's the same answer for your customers. Turn 'em in but if you're afraid of any kind of retribution, do it anonymously, like with a note or something similar. MYOB |
