What is computer science exactly about?


does it really have to do with math?

Computer science is mostly about programming. Yeah, it has a lot to do with math.
If you are studying about IT Management, applied computer science (application development) basic math skills are enough. If you are in to computer science (which may include learning assembly languages, advanced topics in computer, advanced math may be of help).
Any science subject, math is an important skill, because mostly all science use maths to explain its concepts.
