What does the term "all day" means in the kitchen of a restaurant?


Like when a cook hollers "I need a four chicken picatas all day", what does the "all day" mean?

"All day" = The total amount of that item needed for all orders in at that time.
Keep making them... we got more orders coming ?
It is the total number of that dish to fill all of the orders from the restaurant.
