Would you be able to re-apply to a job if they dont hire you the first time?

Say a job Subway for example.

only if it was somewhere i really wanted to work.
or if the time before they weren't actually hiring.
Absolutely, there's no law against it. Maybe the reason they didn't hire you in the first place was that they just had a lot of applicants at the time. Timing is everything. Try again.
Yes! Of course. Most places wait to see who is really persistent and keeps calling or applying. They figure you must really want the job and will stick around longer, even though thats probably not the case. In most of the jobs I've applied I've had no experience and I've gotten most of them because I keep calling and eventually they hire me. My motto is annoy then till they hire you. But do it with confidence.
Me
Depends, non who interviewed me the first time, if they aren't there i would give it a try. Maybe the spot was filled by someone at that time,(the position is open again so why not re-apply?)
Yeah, you could do that. But you gotta be careful. Take my point, for example: I applied to a company in Washington State and interviewed with them, but didn't get the job. So i waited and waited and waited until 90 days was up, then i re-applied again. But there was a woman on the other end who initiated a communication breakdown because when i told her that i was going to say AND spell my name to her to make sure she got it right, she got an attitude and told me never to apply with the company again! No matter! It was a sucky job that paid $9.00/hr. Too many asses to kiss for that kind of money!

If you re-apply, make sure that the person you're talking to on the other end is of sound mind and body and isn't so sensitive that they mistake your tone for rudeness. If they do, then it's their loss, not yours.
I applied to a job in May with a local company, to go through the interviewing process with them, even a second interview. Waited a few weeks, I didnt get hired. Another job in the same department came open just within this past week (same company) and I applied to it.

Nothing wrong with applying for the job. Whoever the recruiter or HR person is, maybe they will recognize your name and think 'hey, this guy/gal really wants to come and work for US'. Good luck!
