im 14 ive tried evry whare ALL the fast food places they all said NO HELP!!!!!!!!! No one hired me till I was 17. It's harder to find a job now cause the economy is so bad. Don't take it personally cici's pizza couple 14 year olds work there Try small family owned shops/bakery's in your area, if there is just the manager and some family working there, they will probably want some extra help. Writing up a good resume and cover letter helps too, even if you have no experience. Most fast food places have policies to not hire people under the age of 16. Try a family restaurant like Perkins, Denny's, Shari's... you get the point. Go for a bus boy position. That should do the trick. go to a small convenience store, also called a mom and pop store. they're family owned usually, hence the mom and pop. Sometimes they may take on an apprentice or stock boy. They will most likely pay under the table, which if you don't know, means you will not get taxes taken out. Neither party reports this to the govt. check this link its good http://workathomedataentryworkss.blogspo... . at 14 your limited, what I would do is aquire a nice lawn mower, and trimmer, weed eater and other associated tools and start a lawn service... It's a big business and professional services are expensive...undercut them and do a good job... It might be hard to get your equipment around but with creative thinking shouldn't be that hard...maybe a granny trike bike with a big basket and tie the lawn mower to the back and tow it...I bet you could do better than you think, and if your customers are happy with your service, word of mouth will provide you with new customers... Most people today either have a lawn service or would like to... give it a whirl... |
