Job interview good bad help!? |
i recently had my first job interview and the manager was pretty nice 2 me he said he appreciated my work ethic 4 lookin 4 a job so soon (im 15) anyway he told me to call him back or come in next week 4 his final decision is it a good sign if they tell u 2 contact them or to show up 4 the decison instead of the typical i'll call u if sumthing comes up? Do as the manager said, and go in next week. It has already been said, but send a thank you note-- this can be placed with your application and if you don't get the job this time, it may help the next time. Contrary to what other people say, if you call more than once, you will be viewed as a desperate pest. could be or maybe this manager is trying to decide which among the final candidates to give the job to I would call them. What I've learned when I apply for jobs is that you keep calling the work place that you applyed for. Bug them enough and you will more than likely get the job. It shows that you are interested in the job. Good luck to you. Give it a few days. If you don't get a response by the promised time, then you should give them a call. Don't forget to mail a thank you card or email them a thank you note. I work in HR and interview people as well. Yes. Even if you don't get this vacancy, he may keep your resume for the next vacancy. Many times they do this if your interview went well. |
