Im a student and i just got hired on as a server at J Alexanders ive heard good and bad things, any feedback?? |
btw I am a pretty good server as far as that goes im just wondering about the company and the tips.... When I lived in Chattanooga, TN there was a J Alexanders near where I lived. I went there once for dinner and it was ok(the food) the service was good. The next time I went there my friend and I sat there, near the servers stations and they sat there talking about how slow it was and how the tips sucked and NO one ever came over to our table, so after 15 mins we got up and left, on our way out the hostess who had sat us 15 mins before, said thanks for coming have a good night or whatever, we called the manager the next day being my friend and I are both Chefs and have run restaurants before, and the manager said... Oh I am so sorry and that was the end of that conversation. We were both angry and never went back and bad mouthed that particular J Alexanders to everyone we knew. I am sorry but that is all I know.
