I would like to take some cooking classes in the Los Angeles area, any ideas?

I just graduated college andwas considering opening a restaurant down the road, I do not know anything about cooking and I would like to gain some knowledge in this area. Any good culinary school that any can reccommend?

I would like to take Cooking 101 type of classes, who knows, if I like it, I might want to become a chef.

Thank you for your help

Cooking 101 is called restaurant work.
Get a job in a restaurant and with luck, your dream of opening your own place won't end in disaster.
80% of all new resturaunts close in the first 6 months because the people opening them didn't know the first thing about the business! You will be surprised when you learn how much is involved, but if you love it, you can make tons of money!!
Good Luck! Source(s): Many happy years in the back of the house
