Who is the worst boss you ever had and explain?

Who is the worst boss you ever had and explain?

He was a fund manager,

He told me I would get just 20% of my work from him in the interview, and it ended up being nearly 80%. He wanted me to print out 2 foot high reports every morning when the printer would break and jam

He never finalized his travel plans - everything was always on hold. He would make me do them at least 5 times. He wanted me to check on stopovers to see if he could stay over 1 night in anyplace "cool."

No bonus from him at Christmastime

He was harassing too. Said that the only admin he could ever be accused of not harassing was his permanent admin - "and that was because she was fat." Said women belonged in the home cleaning.

What a dick!
a pompous arrogant woman who thought she was a princess, if you showed incentive she scolded you and if you didn't she scolded you just like a child. after 8 months it was hard to bite my tongue.. and everybody else felt the same way......
I finally told her at the end of my contract (last day)exactly what I thought of her and who I thought she really was.....this was after she took me into a boardroom with a very long table, sat at one end and lectured me about everything about my work .. trying to make me feel like my efforts hadn't satisfied her.
By the way a have a wonderful resume with alot of references from professionals that I have worked for, so I knew she was just a nasty person.....trying to make me feel bad... .
I had never had any problem and still don't with being a self starter, diligent worker, and a hard worker.
There was no one who could make her happy.
Of course she turned on the tears when I was finished.
I told her she had no business being a manager , because she doesn't know how to treat people.....
..
Mine was as a kid, when I worked for a little restaurant. The owner would make us count (not weigh) out the exact number of everything, like french fries, and if we went one over, he would scream at us as if we had committed a felony! Then, he started trying to claim the tips we made and would short our checks. I quit working for him when we went 3 weeks without being paid at all and it took my step-dad to threaten to call the police on him-- My step-dad also made him repay all of the shortages on everyones checks.
A manager of a restaurant who fired or transfered everyone she could so she could bring in her own "crew". She would fake company policy letterhead to force employees to do whatever she wanted. She would disipline all the workers publically like children, even threatening "time outs" in a corner. She would constantly watch the cameras and if an employee took more than 60 seconds off camera she would yell at them and/or write them up (I went 6 months without a write up and had 9 in a week after she took over). She would alter clocked hours while the employees were working so she could keep labor down. She threatened to fire anybody who got an infraction, even a minor one, on any inspection, including from corporate. If the truck wasn't put away in 30 min, that person would be yelled at. The cookes couldnt have anything less than half full on the line at any time. The servers could not let the glasses get less that half full. The wait staff could also not have conversations with the regular customers.
The employees got the last laugh though. We staged a massive walk out and almost all employees quit on the same day at the same time, during a rush. The employees not working at the time called up and said they were quitting. This left her with only 2 employees besides herself to run the restaurant on a Sunday morning rush (breakfast diner, Sundays are the big money day) and she broke down crying. The next day, she called each of us and begged us to come back. She improved for a 2 week period and then went back to her old ways. We then repeated it. This time, nobody went back to work for her. The restaurant had to close because she couldn't find enough employees to work for her, even from other stores. She was subsiquently fired.
My first Chef would throw red potatoes at your head if you angered her. I learned to duck.
Many happy years in the back of the house
