Does anyone no where a 13 year old can get a job at? |
Does anyone no where a 13 year old can get a job at? baby sitting i jus turned 13 a month ago exactly.. and i wud do baby sittin' or tell sum1 u no that can get u in at their own buisness!!! Most states require you to be 14 to get "working papers". Maybe if you wanted a paper route or to work on a farm or something, the rules may be more lax... Try babysitting, or you can be a tutor for younger kids. Ask your school district. They usually know all the available jobs for minors. and some of them could be educational legally you cannot work. however, you can try working at your local grocery store for tips. you know like bagging people's groceries and taking it to their cars. but the store cannot pay you, you will just be working for tips from the customers. At 13 I don't think you can work in a job job, you have to be at least 16 yrs. old for that. You might want to try babysitting, mowing lawns, walking dogs etc. I would start buy babysitting or getting together with friends and start doing yard work most states will not hire anyone under 14 and 15 and in such economic hardship has to be established. Working is important but so is education limit work to avoid conflict with school. Discuss plans with parent or legal guardian if you can not and really need finanical assistance call social services. |
