During the school year I work for a restaurant at the college I attend. There is a very high turn over rate. This is due to the fact that every year we pretty much get all new staff. I'm soon to be starting my 3rd year of work there. I have almost top senority now for being there so long. The position of weekend manager is open and I really want it as it would pay more, be great on a resume and would fit great with my schedule. I asked my boss about it and he said to bring in a resume. How do I go about bringing in a resume for a company/boss who knows me very well. I have been trying to write it but it just seems like a joke because I know everything I put they already know? Does anyone have any tips for ascending to a better position in a company this way?
