Could someone explain to me what Panera Bread is like? I just got a job there.? |
I was just hired as a cashier. If you have any experience working at Panera Bread as a cashier, could you share what it was like to work there and if there was anything you liked and disliked about working there? Also I've never been to a Panera Bread before so could someone explain what it's like there? Well the first thing you should do is have lunch there to get a feel for the place. Panera is a good place to work. They serve bagels, pastries, souflees and coffee for breakfast. For lunch its soups, salads, sandwiches (hot and cold). For dinner it is the same as lunch but some stores also offer "crispani" a flatbread pizza. I am 20 and have been working for panera for 2.5 years. I am currently training to be a manager. For cashier you will either be in cafe or bakery. You will go to "planet bread" and learn about the company. This is a 3-4 hour orientation at a different store with other new employees. You will bake bread, learn about our concept essence and cultural values, watch a few movies, and talk about customer service. Don't eat before you go! If you have any other questions you can ask me at: Dobeauch@oakland.edu Even if you have questions about your training or anything. Source(s): Panera bread guru. it is busy and just like any other job. Panera is trendy now so you should be busy which is good since that makes the day go faster, being a cashier you won't have to worry about much other than taking money so good luck and smile I suggest you start your work without forming any opinion about the employer or workplace. Go in with a fresh perspective. Different people has different views so its best to see it for yourself. |
