Can you name some good jobs for a 17 year old boy? im 16 and i just got a job in an AMC movie theather but it rockkks free movies, laid back, really great, even with crappy management although i had a job at a bowling alley which was amazing too. but restaraunts are kinda a drag and you don't get much down time, it's always busy and malls or stores, you have to deal with annoying customers alot. hope you find a good one! Michael, Go to the nearest mall. (Dress nicely). Go into the stores you would like to work in. Ask to speak to the manager. Ask the manager for an application. Fill it out and give it to the manager. Call back the next day to "check on the status of my application". There are plenty of jobs out there. You have to go out and get it. Nobody is going to show up on your doorstep and offer you a job. You have to be proactive. OK? Now go out there tomorrow and get a job! Good luck. how many times are you going to ask the damn question? are you 16 or 17, because I am getting confused with all your posts? try mcdonalds A grocery store or a supermarket. They have the most flexible schedules and they always hire high school-age people to be their cashiers, baggers, and stocking. This is the best way to get your foot in the door of the working world. My first job at 16 was at a supermarket... worked there for 2 years. |
